Who We Are
Charleston Field Hockey is a non-profit organization, designed to introduce, teach, and grow the sport of field hockey to young athletes at the recreational level. We are the first official USA Field Hockey Club Team in SC!
Whether you are a beginner who wants to learn a new sport, or an experienced player looking to continue, this is the club for you! We welcome all girls ages 7-19 and boys ages 7-12 to join us! Our Mission
Our goal is to help develop good people and well-rounded athletes by providing an opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals and concepts of the game of field hockey in a fun, recreational setting.
EMPOWERMENT
We believe in empowering every player, regardless of their age or skill level. We focus on building good people and strong character on and off the field, encouraging sportsmanship, growing confidence, promoting commitment, grooming leadership skills, and above all teaching respect.
FUN
Field hockey is fun! We bring our passion for the sport, our creativity, and our individuality in order to create joy in every player.
BALANCE
We grow balanced athletes through our focus on the whole person, promoting life balance and health, inclusion, enjoyment, and multi-sports.
PERSEVERANCE
We never give up! All of our players have the opportunity to develop their technical skills and will also learn the power of never giving up. It's all about grit and hustle!
COMMUNITY
We are committed to our field hockey community and everyone here in the Lowcountry, and work together to build relationships, collaborate with others, promote teamwork and inclusion, and give back to those in need.
